Christians are called to live in imitation of Jesus Christ. As part of the living body of Christ, we often are preoccupied with Christ’s model of compassion, service and fellowship. However, the Gospels portray that Christ’s lifestyle was also defined by frequent sojourns into solitude and prayer. We offer Cross Point Retreat as a sanctuary where Christians may come to escape the busyness of the world – a place of quiet beauty where they can simply be still in the presence of God. Our invitation is made first to high school and college-age youth and those who desire to lead them into the ancient spiritual practices of contemplative prayer, sacred scripture reading and meditation. But Christians of every age are welcome here.
Come as you are, but do not leave as you came.
